Re: Bait cloud
Is that $10.99 AU or USD? My god thats more than buying the fish you target. Geez, you gotta be a millionaire to afford this if you fish just as much as i do.

Re: Bait cloud
Hi
With any product there is always scepticism I am the Australian Distributer of BaitCloud for Australia.
I am based in Gladstone Central QLD and we like many Australian areas have a vast range of fishing options.
We have reef, estuary and freshwater.
I am currently running trials on this product before bringing in a large shipment which will be distributed to local tackle shops.
So what is it about bait cloud compared to other products.
Firstly it's all natural products unlike other products which can disperse quickly and float away BaitCloud forms a cloud drawing in the baitfish which of course brings out the larger species looking for a feed.
Will it work every time of course not. Like any product things are dependant on other factors of fishing.
How does it work as you can see in the video the ball activates within 1-3 min of being in the water, placement of the ball is dependent on where your fishing and tidal flow as to where you place it. The ball lasts up to a hour the idea is with the special formula it will keep the fish interested and keep them around the area while you fish.
Is it expensive well the price you see on the website is Canadian currency, there will be a price difference when converted to Aus.
I will be trying to factor the resale price to be affordable but I have to take into customs, shipping, currency transfer etc.
Will i stock every product here in Australia? I would say not hence the current testing to see what works and what doesn't.
Stay tuned the product will start being sold here in the coming months

Re: Bait cloud
As a previous post mentioned, coarse fisherman have been doing this for ages by mixing in some Alka Selzer in to their ground bait mix.

Re: Bait cloud
Has anyone considered making something like this themselves, the bath bombs of similar nature are pretty easy to make. Might be an interesting DIY

Re: Bait cloud
Once upon a time I remember one of the BCF store managers telling me not to worry about burley for whiting... just get a big bucket of sand and dump it over the side of the boat when you are in your spot. His thinking being the commotion in the water would attract the fish..... tried it once. Did not work.
