Bait cloud
Anyone see this?
Looks like a fish flavoured berocca that sends a plume of burley bits up through the water column. Sounds like a really good idea as long as the bubbles don't repel the fish. The video is crap until about 1min in.

Probably can't get them in Aus yet but if they take off it won't be long

It's an exhilarating feeling catching a fish
But it's an even better feeling releasing them

Re: Bait cloud
That stuff looks like it has some potential thanks Davo i'll try to source some and give it go as I've tried making berley balls and throwing them near my baits with no luck, these seem a better option to do that.davek wrote:I'll just stick to conventional methods,

Re: Bait cloud
I'm surprised you say that as I never go fishing without burley, I can say with 100% confidence that burley increases your catchesMarty.A wrote:That stuff looks like it has some potential thanks Davo i'll try to source some and give it go as I've tried making berley balls and throwing them near my baits with no luck, these seem a better option to do that.davek wrote:I'll just stick to conventional methods,

Re: Bait cloud
I use burley regularly but I was looking at something that I can get out to my baits when I fish the banks of lakes ive even thought of having a weighted burley bag tied to some rope and lob it out closer to my baits.fishpod wrote:I'm surprised you say that as I never go fishing without burley, I can say with 100% confidence that burley increases your catchesMarty.A wrote:That stuff looks like it has some potential thanks Davo i'll try to source some and give it go as I've tried making berley balls and throwing them near my baits with no luck, these seem a better option to do that.davek wrote:I'll just stick to conventional methods,

Re: Bait cloud
Humbug.
The only thing that this is burleying up is dollars in the manufacturers pockets.
If anyone is willing to pay $10.00 or so for three fizzy golf balls the're crackers.
Does burley work, of course it does if used correctly. There's lots of ways to make it and lots of ways to use it, all of them for a fraction of the cost of this BaitCloud con.

Re: Bait cloud
these effervescent balls should be giving out carbon-dioxide like most of the soft drinks, I don't really think this would attract fish for more than a couple of seconds before they realize they are starting to *CHOKE* lol.
Re: Bait cloud
I will probably buy some to try but I don't think I will be making it a regular occurence
