Not the Edens but I've been using the 2kg Gotcha IQF's from my local Bcf lately and the quality has been good.

I have bought them many times as well and have been happy with them :)

Also good deals on pilchards at regal marine. Pretty sure I stocked up at the beginning of last snapper season with them for $12/2kg bags. You can also buy in bulk 15kg boxes for about $90 from other places. Don't quote me on the prices exactly but that's correct I think from memory.

One thing I noticed is that I bought a 15kg box of PPB pilchards once and had a very poor success rate with the whole lot of them after having a very, very successful season on WA pilchards (still mid snapper season). I can't say it was the PPB pilchards/the batch/the qualitys fault for certain but 2 of us agreed that we wouldn't be buying them again from the same supplier. Maybe nothing to do with the fact they were from PPB but once bitten, twice shy.

Been told by a local tackle store up in the Sapphire Coast ealier in the year that Eden uses imported pilchards for their bait products ... we used both the Tweed and Eden baits on the trip and the Tweeds are by far a better product but not sure if we have Tweed brand down this way though.
