Another option is selling them to pet shops/aquariums, they will pay more than tackle shops. A friend who worked at a local shop offered to pay me more than they cost at the tackle shop to go and collect a bunch for her.

Otherwise I'll grab a bunch, had to re dig my dam last year after it was dry for 5-6 years so it needs re stocking, I'd probably buy a few big ones for a feed too haha. Coldstream isn't too far from me and would give me an excuse to drop in at the brewery

Bought some from a tackle store in Crannie, they charged an arm and a leg for them. Otherwise I would have spent time gathering my own, which is unfortunately a little bit of a distance to travel.
