I'm not intrested in small flathead, pinkies and small squid those critters are everywhere in the bay wanna see some real fish. Snappers, gummys, big squid, big kings that's what I'm after. Me and my mates have done very well with gummys and snapper, and squid over 2kg but we haven't got in to kings as yet but I sure as hell cant wait!!!!!

I was hoping you didn't go out Scott... I've been to busy and can't get out! Nice rats mate. Judging by what a diver told me mid week, we'll have a good season offshore this year

Ive just made a Facebook page which I plan on posting regular kingfish tips and whatnot. I'm no expert but this stuff was hard to find when I was hunting my first kingie. Feel free to check it out.

Mate it's the way you post it. Guys like bowl post reports to help others and because he damn well can. Taking thinly veiled pot shots at the guys like him on someone elses report of let's face it, average rat kings is pathetic. As for the others, they're only 8 hours down the freeway and an interstate licence away.

P.S. You've 'met' one. Snapper are ****, Gummies are predictably average until over 5ft and Kingfish are fun, but only really good once they grow up
