Awesome report and pics as always mate! Makes me miss home, Malaysia. All I can say is you're lucky you experienced Borneo as it is now. Sadly in 5-10 years time more habitat will be loss to miners and developers.
And FYI fishing is so much better in East Malaysia than Peninsular Malaysia, especially land based.

Live in Hughesdale, but was born and partly raised in KL before moving to Aus. Fished in Malaysia a couple of times.
