Roughly 25-30mm wide, on a single 8/0 gamakatsu occy circle.
On the question of bait, we fished the same spot 6 or 7 weeks ago, for 3 gummies on the night. 2 of them swam past fresh trevally cutlets to take squid rings. The only gummy bait I'd rank above the humble squid is banana prawn, which has won out a few times in a spread of baits. Full credit to Cheaterparts for that suggestion.
