I spent a lot of it wishing I'd thought to bring my game rod and a roll of 100lb wire trace.

I saw one off Lady Julie Percy Island many many years ago and I felt uncomfortable in my mates 19ft boat!!!!

I wouldn't want to hook a GWS, but a thresher or bronzie would be good fun on the yak. Makos I'm a bit iffy about having heard stories of them going absolutely apeshit next to (and in) boats.

uh yeah. Like the next time I head offshore and I remember the game rod. Dunno how you target those specifically and avoid makos and gws though
