Starting a fishing competition in victoria

Post by PIKEFISH » Mon Feb 19, 2018 6:51 pm

Hey Guys!

Wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction regarding the creation of a public fishing competition.

My co founder and I are seeking knowledge and assistance to find out whether we need any sort of licence or inssurane to run the comp/s.

We want to do the right thing by the industry.
Any information on where to start to find this information would be greatly appreciated

Cheers

Depends on your comp and if.you want corprate sponsors.
The bigger it is amd if game clubs are involced you need insurance or if you meet up on public areas for weigh in or renting a park for a event.
If it just a few people then no insurance ir you can state everyone needs there own etc.

There was a comp on here run by a member and insurance was never brought up.
