That's a great idea but from what i saw on Ch 10 news dismantling and repurposing the site will be a 10 year project and that Loy Yang could be the next to go in a few more years. I've heard rumours that Alcoa's future is under a cloud as well ,not looking good for Victoria at the moment.ducky wrote:So they are turning the mine into a lake. It's bizarre really. Renewable energy is the future, why aren't they doing all they can to build the industry and ease the transition as much as possible?
