No have not as yet. this is the first time i have ventured this far up the Yarra.
So many creeks and rivers to fish in the Yarra valley - we are spoiled for choice, but does make it hard to pick where to go next at times - all most have to just throw a dart in the map....

mate i fished just quite near from you on saturday night, got about 10 eels, 2 blackfish and 1 monster macquarie perch. Biggest one i have seen would have easy one over 40cm and thick!

When fishing at night i try not to use any lights as it attracts eels like crazy. i just sit in the dark till my rod goes off, then turn my headlamp on to get the fish out then it goes back off.

That is one big macca, and nice to know blackfish are in that area.
Will certinaly give it a go again when I get a chance.
