Someone told me they were illegal to use as live bait. I don't know, might have to check on dpi

Yeah I'm not to sure either. This dam literally had thousands. I know it might be against the law but they die anyways

They appear on this list therefore will be very illegal to use (look for gambusia)! Assuming of course there were Mosquitofish.

I'm not sure. Problem is making sure you could show a fisheries officer that they were dead when placed on the hook! Carp are also illegal to use as live bait but people cut fillets from them and use that. That is fine as they certainly are dead then! Assuming you are on Facebook it would be worth sending a message to the DEPI page. They will respond with an answer.
