Yarra at Warburton

Post by longbob » Sat Mar 08, 2014 5:39 am

I have fished the Yarra mainly at Wonga Park - Jumping Creek because that is where I believed all the larger fish were. Have I been missing out by avoiding Warby, Wesburn etc.? I thought there were only small trout, redfin and blackfish up there, but after Thursdays outing am beginning to wonder if it might be worth a trip or two further up the highway :gone:

I would say it is well worth the trip, some of those deeper pools hold a lot of promise
