Drought broken at last

Post by ChrisD » Tue Feb 18, 2014 8:50 pm

My father in law convinced me to head out tonight to the Yarra at Yering to try our luck. After the run of doughnuts I've been having I didn't expect anything to change. After a couple of hours without a touch we decided to call it a night. As I lifted the rod to bring it in... Bang..... Off it went. Turned out to be a nice little 25cm Redfin, not only an overall drought breaker but my first Redfin in a couple of years. Made the whole trip worthwhile. Will be trying that spot again, figure if there is one there will be more, fingers crossed anyway.

Good job mate. Got to grind through those donut streaks - they have to end at some point :)
