anyone fished sugarloaf recently

hi guys has anyone fished sugarloaf res of late.

Fish there quite regularly. it is rarely good fishing, but i suspect that there are a LOT of fish in there. There has recently been heaps of fingerlings swimming by the shore line, so hopefully things there pick up in the near future!
I say its worth a shot - especially if you are close. its such a scenic area and heaps of access to the shoreline, even with the restricted fishing area.

If you know what you're doing, there is a lot of good fishing to be had at sugarloaf. You really have to figure it out for yourself

any clues as whats the best way to tackle sugarloaf

In this weather the fish will be down deep. From what I have heard the best results are casting lures with sinkers as well to get the distance and depth right down deep. I'd say with this hot weather it would be tough going as there is very little cover but you never know your luck mate. :thumbsup:
