Blue Lake, that place brings back so many memories. When I was a kid I was involved in scouting, we used to camp there all the time and abseil off the cliffs around to the right at the top of the hill. we used to use the lake for canoeing activities but I have never fished it though. Good times

A mate of mine does catch redfin at Mill park lakes, I have seen pics of two he caught on different days ( very respectable size ) .... weed is a problem he uses rubbery lures like a small MR twister, he says they are easier to use in the weed, but still gets caught up occasionally...
