Great attitude mate, there should be more of it.

Top work Shayne..looks like a great morning was had..
Bloody eels....I`m not going into that again..hate eels...and Shayne, what you said about confidence, absolutely spot on...you find what works for your particular style, and anything else becomes alien...

I remember saying to a mate that I had never caught an eel before. He suggested throwing on a worm and trying close to the bank. I caught a thumper and have barely been able to catch anything else in freshwater since... They are a pain in the arse. I am also targeting River blackfish and the methods to catch them are pretty much the same as Eels.

G'day mate, yeah they are a pain in the arse, and expect plenty of them while fishing for blackfish of a night.
Also just a reminder , i'm pretty sure it's closed season for blackfish at the moment until December ?, opening season again around the same time as cod again I think ? ( check dpi to be sure ) ;) .

Cheers mate , hope to catch up for a fish again soon , Rick.

A good day out by the looks of that old mate. Yeah! Eels are not my favourite critter. Cut the line, wave bye bye.
