I would like to catch my first trout! Ill defiantly try a few new spots if anybody knows any, just quiet annoying not knowing many spots to fish and the ones I do know haven't been to great lately.

I live in Croydon too, and fishings been slow for me for a while so hopefully get some soon.
If i want a lake then lilydale, rowville, emerald or sugarloaf. If i try rivers then normally up near warburton, or in the caravan park there. also found a new spot but that ones but myself for now :)

Good effort!! What did you get them on?? I've only managed reddies from sugarloaf, all on hb's.

And jessos, do some exploring around your usual spots, you never know what's around the corner unless you give it a crack!!
