That's good mate, sorry I jumped to conclusions, it was just that they looked half dead.

yah mate got onto a few fish on the yarra the other day including one macca just before warrandyte, very good to see it firing up after not havniog much luck there in the past.

wow, what happend to giving the benefit of the doubt? those fish look wet anyway which suggests to me they were just pulled out of the water...

Look dead? Most fishies look like that once out of the water lol

Nice catch buddy :) It's tempting to spend my day off tomorrow going fishing along the Yarra, bit wary of going solo though. Is it bit of a hike from road to river?

Haha ive caught black fish that look dead before i even get them out of the water. We have all caught little fish that die before they have a chance of being released. If they die of shock or something insted of wasteing it gut it and see whats been on the menu!

Yeah maccas have oversize eyes... they look like they've carked it even when alive....

Looks like I might have a bit of time this week, have been crook & unable to work so don't even know if I still have a job at the moment lol :dontknow damn casual work!
