Any luck on the Yarra

hey guys,
I will probably head down to the Yarra this weekend to wet a line just wondering if anyone has had any recent success down there? Tossing up whether to go Eltham Templestowe or Warrandyte but am happy to give somewhere else ago if anyone has any good reports. Also if anyone knows what is and isn't working down there at the moment bait and lure wise. Should I maybe consider a night session? Just really keen to crack the Yarra as i still haven't caught anything there yet.

Is cod season back open?
If not I would only run light gear just on the off chance fisheries turn up.
Last time I was there was 9pm dark as hell, 20min walk from car and out of the bushes comes fisheries.

Last time i fished the yarra was about a month ago for a couple of Mac perch at wittons reserve. this Saturday morning me n shayne Bennett will be hitting it again around warrendyte so we'll have a fresh report up probably Saturday lunch time

Cod season hasn't closed yet Drifta-X. From memory it closes around the same time trout season opens.

Cod season is officially closed from the 1st of September. So we will be chasing cod this weekend!!!
