Quickie after work in the yarra
Got off work half hour early to to the obvious thing to do was go fishing lol.. Had left over scrubbies from last weekends effort with shayne so they were the bait of choice.. Fished at homestead rd underneath the first rope swing and landed a Mac perch @ 23 cm within 15 mins. About 15 mins later I landed another perch, a bit bigger @ 28 cm.. I fished for about an hour and the bites were pretty constant and saw a handful of fish taking insects off the surface. The river is back to its normal height but still a little discolored

Excellent news, good to hear the macs are back on the bite in that area. Maybe the extra water from the last week or so helped.
