Been a long long time since i fished the upper yarra , Around Richmond / Bridge rd. used to fish well for me years ago , not sure about nowerdays though ?

Hi Fella's,look i lived in Melbourne for a few years & i have done very well out of the yarra in different sections of it.Were to start well i have fished @ launching place near the hotel & caught blackfish @ 45cm.Westerfolds park around the porter st end cod,mac perch,eels & carp. Dight falls above & below,redfin carp & eels. hawthorn Yellowbelly bream,redfin,carp,eels & crabs in a shrimp net,dont worry i'm still scratching my head about that.Eltham,Griffin park for Cod eels & carp,all fish caught on worms.
Other spots sweeny's lane Reynolds rd,Banksia park,studlypk,finally use your fingers a melways is a great reference,cheer's Murph....

The Yarra can be hit and miss at times , I find when using worms I would use the dirt of the area I'm fishing at in the tub it works
