Decide to go for a fish this afternoon, was nice and cool beside the river and the redfin were biting.
SP's were again doing the job. Was a little surprised how far up the river has come with the recent rains.
But after seeing 3 tiger snakes and red belly black snake... :o_0: ...decide coming home was a better way to spend the afternoon..............

How far up were you and how's the water clarity? Wondering if it'd be trying for cod later

Was out at Woori Yallock.
Water was running fast but was fairly clear, for the Yarra.

There are some open sections - and looks like the council or someone has been along recently dragging out and cutting up some of the bigger trees that had fallen in. Which is frustrating considering some of those were perfect snags for fish to be hiding in.
It is not just the trees over the river that are growing well, but along the banks and tracks the grass, weeds and plants are thick.
It was another reason I called it quits after 4 snakes, the track is just clear enough in spots and the risk was too great.
