couple of reddies

Couple of little reddies, about 20cm, out of the Yarra, as the sun went down.
Was looking for blackfish, didn't get any, but will not knock back a couple of reddies as by-catch :)

Would have been a nice night for it I haven't caught one in years but I still remember they taste great

How do you tell the difference between reddies and carp? I always get mixed up :S

The top one is a Redfin the bottom is a Carp they are completely different looking and easy to tell apart. :thumbsup:

Good old garden worms, they are my go to bait for most of the Yarra residents :)
Turns out the mozzies made a meal of me last night........forgot the areoguard :(
