tried for some trout in a tributry of a tributry of the upper yarra in the hope of finding some water that hasnt been too affected by all the recent rain and i found success! In two short sessions of both spinning celtas and drifting worms i managed 9 browns and 2 blackfish, nothing huge but good fun anyhow. all fish went back to fight another day.

Beautiful fishing mate! Which spinner is that? I don't recognise it.

Little streams that run off from the bigger ones are always worth flicking a lure or fly into, well done some nice little browns taken, good job on releasing them as well.. That little spinner is very similar to a Mepps Aglia long..

cheers
Adrian
