Donuts being served at Spadoni Reserve -YARRA

Post by ChrisD » Sat Oct 03, 2015 11:33 am

Spent a few hours fishing Spadoni Reserve in Yerang, on the Yarra, this morning. All for naught......not even a bite.
It is a snaggy section of river and I was hoping it might be the spot to break my Yarra Redfin drought....but no joy.
Not sure if it was the barometer dropping, dahm thing seems to do it every time my lines hit the water lately.
But hey, spent some time next to the river, watching light aircraft and model aircraft flying over head, so that kept it intresting.
maybe next time I will find those Yarra Redfin and land a few......

I remember fishing Spadoni reserve nearly 40 years ago where the only donuts were done in our cars, ( once the cows had cleared) ;-) cheers davo
It's an exhilarating feeling catching a fish
But it's an even better feeling releasing them

Yeah mate it's also warming up n coming into there breeding season.. Though they breed up to 3 times a year it was probably up the duff..

One less means one more snag vacant for a cod
