Two and half hours on the Yarra @ heritage golf club

Post by ChrisD » Sun May 03, 2015 1:07 pm

Well I managed to get out and wet a line today went for two and half hours on the Yarra @ heritage golf club.
Worked about a 1KM of river bank bit by bit as well as finally trying the lake at the back of the golf course.
Managed to live up to my current standard for fishing trips - plenty of bites, and some really good ones today :woohoo: , but not a single hook up :wall:
Although all the bites came from the Yarra - the lake at the back of the golf course didn't produce even a bite - but I am keen to give it another crack at some stage, looks like it should hold fish.
Now all I have to do is start turning those bites into hook ups and I will be really happy.........wait and see what next weekend brings

A beautiful day for fishing. Too bad no fish.
Maybe put a golfball on the line and catch that big cod

It's an exhilarating feeling catching a fish
But it's an even better feeling releasing them

It was nice on the river bank in the sun today - could have stayed longer but had other things to get done.
No cod that far up the Yarra ....... that I am aware of.
Can't access the golf course from there - not a fan of golf anyway - would rather sit and soak up the sun.

The lake looks fish worthy, even if I didn't get a bite on the weekend - hope to try it again soon
