No, but will do just as good as you would do during the day...more fishing hours! Where I fish I am chasing natives as well. My mate's 11 yr old son got a small cod on a spinner a couple weeks ago after dark! The best (and only) yella I have seen come out of there (45 cm model that succumbed to Davek) came out of there after dark. Redfin are the only fish that I have not got any (decent size) ones after dark. They seem to go to :sleepy1:. I guess it depends on the area you are fishing too in regards to how safe it is.fishmagnet wrote:..................to you tend to have better success after dark?

Nice effort! The cold weather doesn't seem to be slowing them down! Unless of course you would normally get more there!

Was hovering around the 1018/19 mark here today...would have been less where you were. Not a super duper high but still reasonable. I always say...go anyway!BIG GAV wrote:I dropped two monsters. I dunno, 6isnt a bad effort for a session along the plenty but it was a high today yes?

We went! Seemed to be worth it! It's 20knotstomorrow so not hitting the bay but definitely trying a morning cod session along the Yarra then a final attempt at the m&s comp tomorrow at a lake
