Local knowledge needed.
Hi all,I,m currently at Ferntree gully visiting my daughter at their new residence.Son- inlaw said there is a quarry holding water nearby.i've googled it and it shows the railway line nearby and some new housing development happening.Does anyone fish it? :snap:

That's it Texas.I have just taken my grannies for walk and found it.It is fenced ,but I found a opening that others use.A father had is 2 young kids fishing he said he has caught a lot of small Reddies at times, but has been quiet recently. It is quite deep and a lot of weed on the bottom and the kids get snagged a lot.being a quarry it would also have rocks on the bottom.Taken some pics so will post them later.Texas wrote:Back in 2013 (on this forum) reports of big redfin & that it has been stocked with yellowbelly.

Gus, that looks like a legit entrance in the fence   cheers davo
It's an exhilarating feeling catching a fish
But it's an even better feeling releasing them
