Black Flat - Warrandyte N.P.

Post by Berto » Sun Jan 11, 2015 9:50 am

....took the young bloke and our metal detector for a bit of a walk/detect around Black Flat in Warrandyte Nat. Park the other week.
Followed the main walking track and saw that the Yarra was flowing nicely and fairly wide as well. I didn't have any rods in the car, but has anyone fished around here..??
Id like to go back, but there was a crapload of bush and shrubs that id have to bush-bash through to get to the waters edge. Thanks

I do a fair bit of detecting also, but you better check, I don't think you are allowed to prospect in National Parks !!!!!!!!!!
Cheers,
Bodz.

That section of the Yarra holds a large variety of different fish, the prize being Cod and Yella's from time to time. Plenty of Carp, Eels and Macca's as well.
