Since todays weather was so good again, i went to the plenty for round 2 to catch the carp i lost a little while ago. Went to the same spot, same baits (corn and worms) and waited. No longer then a few mins and BANG rod was so close to going in the drink. Drag fully locked up in a 1000 size reel and still taking line. I knew it was a big one. After 15 mins of dodging snags i finally got him to the bank. Only problem was i forgot a net Bangg so shoes and socks off and i went in. I brought him up on the bank and this time brought him further back so he couldnt flip himself back in like last time.
It went 62cm.
When dad picked me up he was kind enough to take me to yarrambat aswell. No one had even had a bite when i got there so it was a bit discouraging. Anyway, i got into one played him out and when i lifted him out of the water he dropped off. Oh well always next time.
