Hi guys,
Thanks for the warm welcome. Sorry bout the slow reply.

Spudtrans.I'm still figuring that out atm. :p
I dont have a boat so mainly land based fishing for now. been trying lures n soft plastics as I figured I can leave it in the car an go fishin if the opportunity arises.

I got a baitcaster n rod from my brothers mate but I found it alittle difficult to cast really light lures n stuff, no probs on the heavier lures n spinners but anything really light just doesnt cast well... maybe its just me.
so now im thinking of getting a 2500 sized combo or a 4000 combo for casting from the pier or rocks. Cant decide.
in reality im just goin for whatever is biting. :p

Hi Nigel and a big welcome mate,

You might find a 2500 series reel will serve you well. 4000 is a big reel for landbased around ppb. Unless of course your chasing big stuff.

Just my humble opinion.

Cheers Amanda
