Useful tool for fishing in Victoria
Hi All!
I'm new to this forum, a friend recommended I have a look at this site.
I don't do much fishing but do a few other water sports like windsurfing and sailing. I built an iPhone app (free), people provide feedback saying it could be good for fishing. It's called "Vic Wind", it displays live weather info for Port Phillip and the Victorian Coast, has configurable tide settings, wind stations, rain radar and a bunch of other things.. Anyway maybe it's useful for fishing, I've added a few pictures as well. Hope everyone has been catching lots of fish! Cheers.

Looks like a handy little App. Thanks Mate!
I normally cross check between SeaBreeze, WillyWeather and BayWind. You'd be surprised how often they all tell you something different.

Yeah no worries.
Most of the data in the app comes from BOM. The little countdown shows when the next readings will be available/when data was downloaded.
The App also shows a few Baywx graphs for wind and temperature.
If anyone wants more tide stations let me know I can add them in.
Cheers

Tried Vic Wind.
Great if u like all that stuff, but I'll stick to Willy Weather for fishing.
Thanks anyway.

I would love an app that had current water temps for ppb... just so I can keep on eye on what's working when !
