Gunners

Postby ante552 » Sat May 05, 2018 6:19 pm

G'day guys,
Hit gunners this morning bout 7am

Touch n go with the wind but managed to battle through.

Started with standard paternoster bait n popper.

Tide change in the mix(going low)
Hour in mate pulls in a 40cm sambo. ( i got cut cos it was his first time at gunners). After some seaweed was coming in so few snags as i was clear seaweed my rod buckles and im on nice 40cm pinkie (must be lost).

Then went quite we just hung around baits where getting nibbled by bait fish.

Once tide change started we pulled in 3 more sambos 40-45cm.
And few 20cm (returned)

Then the rubber necks arrived and went dead packed up and left.

Photos to come.

P.s looks like another week and seaweed will be a nightmare
