Fishing the last month.

Happy to return from my moderator enforced break will reply to those well-wishers who have messaged me with questions shortly.
The last month have done a little fishing when the opportunity arisen a few reasonable sessions on the Whiting best being around mid 40's a nice evening catching a few decent gummies. Got out offshore for a day caught a nice kingfish trolling live slimies and casted stick baits at some schools of salmon out the western entrance I think it was the same day purplefive caught those wrasse around flinders. Apart from that a few flathead drifts and no freshwater fishing hopefully I can get up the Nth end of the state in the next month.

We were certainly looking for those salmon. Looks like you found them and we didnt!

Cheers for the replies. Purple5ive yeah there has been some big schools busting up the last month or so 60cm plus salmon amongst them just got to find the boils and birds working quietly approach to just within casting distance. Rapala long cast stick bait in pearl white done the damage.

Cheers Mate, no pics wasn’t a big fish but still not complaining. Few reds getting caught around Rhyll corinella so might have a look once the winds drop.

had all the right gear mate, including those stickbaits but just couldnt find the damn buggers. i was most certainly after those 60cm brutes. they sure give a good account of themselves.

Definitely not suggesting you don't mate. Yeah they go alright :thumbsup: .
