From local fish monger think it was around 10 bucks for a kilo of silverfish. .cheap as chips

Honestly, Im no gun Fisherman (I leave that for some of the others on here) But I catch a bunch of big snapper every year, several hundred KG Whiting, and flatties are available on demand year around. I rate Gars over pretty much everything. I love them.

i use a 10 foot 6 rod reason picksup the line quicker a waggler float main body is under the water less wind influrence braid line to a long fluro leader size 10 to 14 hooks but the two keys are your burley dont overdo it just enough to keep them in your area and as soon as that float moves strike quick as for cooking i just fillet bit of quality olive oil in a hot pan done awesome to eat
