From mornington to corinella

Post by ante552 » Fri Oct 13, 2017 8:22 pm

G'day fellas
Woke up early for once,
Hit mornington arrived about 6am 4 hours in wind for 1 salmon.

Decided to drive to corinella got there about 11ish
Casted small road in with high hopes yep toadie...

Then set up paternstar and casted 10mtrs infront
Double hit banjo and small flattie back in the drink

Same spot rod bent within minutes landed a 30cm trev
Followed by 10 baby banjos
1 cod/ling
Small skate

Then luck came another trev close to 40cm straight under pier no chance he was getting away 30lb braid ha ha.

Then came the couta
And i think yakkas
Yellowtail not sure if thats what they are called.

Will load some pics later.

Fun fishing
Tomorrow it begins again
Got to love retirement

Hit mornington at 6 till 10.30 zero zilch zip

Only seen 1 guy pull in a salmon
Another guy tangled 3 lines that was funny.

Went past brighton a few bites but nothing
Spoke to a guy thats been there most of the day seen couple young guys get 2 decent size pinkied at end of breakwall

Try corinella if yoir up for a drive
Hit tide change center of pier cast 5mtrs infron of you.

Paternoster set up pilchard or blue bait.

Anyhow good luck for tomorrow
