Time to say hello

Post by KillerJoe » Wed Jan 06, 2016 9:25 pm

Hi all
I moved out to KooWeeRup about a year ago and being so close to the bay i thought it might be time to get a rod, as a kid dad would take us to tooradin all the time but now that i live close by im out of excuses. I watch the tides come in or go out on my way too and from work and have wanted to go fishing for a while now. Looking back at buying rods and tackle i now shudder, i would save $40 and buy the biggest rod combo i could from kmart then add some random hooks and sinkers then hope it all works.....no suprise, it rarely paid. This time i read up and after a bit of looking about i setteld on an ugly stick ballance combo 6.'6" long 3-6 kg with a light action for $100 from bcf so it should suit fishing from the shore of an estuary. Anyways i hope to read up a bit on hear, im sure i have a ton to learn.
