Been out along the north coast of a island thats basically unchartered water off the gps maps.ive been lucky ive had two windless days so its made it a fair bit easier.

The fishing has been very good with alot of big jewfish, red emperor, golden snapper and naniguy....but mostly jewfish

Its very easy to catch prawns which has been magnificent eating along with crayfish.

Ive damaged 3 props in 2 days so far, one at speed which did some damage.

im pretty cut up from the rocks so after tonight jewfish hunt im heading back into the mainland before I head up cape york

Hope the snapper are treating you well

Eating like a king! Great stuff mate. Would have been a buzz fishing unknown waters like that. How do you go changing your prop in croc & shark infested waters? Were you close enough to shore? Couldn't imagine a gearbox holding out for long with a prop like that. You did a good job of it :)

Awesome work mate! I hope your hands arent too cut up. Im being kind to the snapper and letting them all off before they get to the boat this season haha. That being said, I have more band aids that fingers atm, at least you have spectacular scenary and fishing!

lucky its a yamaha redhunter..

No a few hundred meters off....but no wind so easy job.

crocs arent really I problem cause you can see them....sharks I do worry about a little especially since ive had big 20 kg span mack and jewies snashed at the boat by sharks

but its better than sitting at work in a office or watching ifish and thinking abt it !!!
