yeah you gotta split the tail evenly so that both flaps has a tail to attract the bigger fish

Sweet report!!! I'm planning to head over to WA with the missus for some diving! :D I've been quite the seal since getting my new Ocean Hunter wetsuit

The cutting of the tail in two is call butterfly filleting... or something like that

Great report, I'm very envious. I'm heading to Hervey Bay Qld just after Easter and I can't wait.

Hopefully there'll be a similar type of booty up there for me and the MD.

hehehe thanks yo!! but mind you be very careful in WA alright, Cause theres plenty of Sharks!! everywhere even in the river system they got bull sharks! but part from that have a safe trip!! hehehe

Yeah it certainly does MIKER! its just a fantastic and awesome place! i miss it already!! now i know where to go and how to get em! if i ever do this trip again! i will definately try to get a SAILFISH or MARLIN! i long for hahaha

FML.. I already **** myself cause of the huge stingrays, not ready to deal with sharks, even though I've come across a couple.. in Brighton and Mornington.... bad ass banjos lol

hahahaha diving up in exmouth with sharks you just gotta keep your cool... cause they can sense your heart beating lol..

Very nice report and it sure reminds me off my younger days off past..... type off fish, type off fishing and i use to love cast netting for bait! Or even bream and prawns.... perfect circles.....

Makka me jealous cause i aint been fishing for a long time.....

Flat out at work.... everyone wants their boat fixed or serviced NOW! I mean yesterday! Just got another promotion at work so working flat out 6 days a week and than on sunday fixing cars for mates at home.... so fishing has been on the back burner for a while....
BUT

TTUUNNAA season just around the corner..... :mrgreen:
and KINGS are a starting to call me from the Heads so mmmmmmm......
think its time i got the flu.....
