I have recently been visited by my best mate Josh and another mate Jason. Josh is from Sydney and Jason is from Cairns and the objective was for them to spend 3 days at my place in Mackay and do nothing but fish. The tides were absolutely massive thanks to the current new moon, so estuary fishing in the tinny was definitely out of the question. What these tides did provide us with however, was the perfect opportunity to take the kayaks out and investigate one of the locations I had found with all my google map reconnaissance.
We ended up catching 28 fish which included 3 beautiful saratoga.
