Glidin' with the Sooty's

Post by lukesfishinmission » Sat Jun 22, 2013 6:26 pm

Hell yeh for show holidays. Sure I could have went to the show and ate ridiculously overpriced junk food and then been on the verge of puking as I followed this up with a ride on the zipper and kamikaze but you know what – what could possibly be a better way to spend the show holiday than taking an early morning kayak fishing trip with friends.

Ended up landing 5 nice little soots in a few hours, of which 4 of the 5 were taken on surface. Gotta be the most enjoyable method by a country mile.

Was just awesome being out there in a pristine location....

Cheers guys
Yeh Huckleberry they are definitely an impressive fish. Absolute powerhouses which smash surface plastics or minnows. Such powerful jaws too. They quickly mangle a cheap treble thats for sure

Cheers snapprslayer - its pretty relaxing mate. No crocs that far up so its all sweet
