Victor harbour

Post by Joker91 » Tue Apr 18, 2017 11:06 pm

Has any one ever fished at victor harbour in south Australia?

If you have any tips I would be great full. I'm just trying to figure out what rods and gears I will need to take with me and some possible fishing locations.

I have fished out of Victor Harbour a few times for KG. Best bait was pippis and scallop guts. You should also berley and a few crushed razor fish works well. We just went out to about 6 fathoms and fished broken bottom - mixed rock, sand and weed patches. You might need to move around a bit to find the fish. It is also worth trying a squid jig occasionally. If you find a few boats close together it is worth a look to see if they are catching fish. Best of luck!
