Here's a photo of a couple of KGW that were taken in the Tamar River area in the North above the Batman Bridge.. this is the common size of the whiting being caught down here now days.

Wonderful fish Adrian, but what surprises me is that whiting of that size are only found offshore here; the biggest fish I know of from WP was 59 cm taken during the fisheries survey some years ago.


I looked at Google Earth and the Batman bridge is well up into the Tamar estuary, I wonder why the fish were still there.
