i have seen lures break like that before but not personally happened to me.
have you been throwing them against trees/rocks?
i think it did pretty well catching 60 trout and even on the same trebles

I was pretty happy with the lure, lasting as long as it did with bottom bouncing in the rivers and the rivers here are very rocky.. Like you said it did it's job in catching 60 plus trout too.. I have bounced it off the odd rock that's sitting out of the water mid stream so I'm lucky it lasted this long.. can't blame the manufacture at all.. All my lures have a tough life fishing the rivers down here with me.... ;-)

cheers

you could try and superglue it together and see if it holds up?

I thought of that but worried what may happen if I get onto a decent trout.. Would hate to have it part ways and lose a decent fish.. :(
I still have a dozen or so of these lures left.. :-D

cheers
