Wonderful fish Adrian, but what surprises me is that whiting of that size are only found offshore here; the biggest fish I know of from WP was 59 cm taken during the fisheries survey some years ago.
I looked at Google Earth and the Batman bridge is well up into the Tamar estuary, I wonder why the fish were still there.
