Hey all, just returned from a 5 night trip to Merimbula NSW.
We left at about 3:00pm on Friday and stayed the night in Bairnsdale. In the morning we then departed early in the morning and soon stopped at Eden for a quick fish at the wharf. We got a few trevally, yakkas and slimeys but nothing decent. Then we headed off to Merimbula. It was extremely windy when we got there so didn't bother going out for a fish.
On Sunday morning I woke up to see sunshine pouring into our cabin. I peeked out the window and to my delight there was no wind, and the sun was shining. For the next couple of days the weather was great and we got quite a bit of fishing done.
I was disappointed to be leaving yesterday because we still hadn't got any really decent fish. The weather was great with about 17 - 20 degrees most days. Anyway overall we caught a heap of small trevally and yakkas, some of them decent, heaps of slimeys, a truckload of toadies and some small bream. Lots of crabs also. Pics:

Re: Merimbula Report
No probs . You probably didn't catch much because of the time of year. How big was the dead bream.

Re: Merimbula Report
The bream was about 30 - 35cm, and it had been gutted and filleted.
