Eucumbene and Murrumbidgee rivers report

Just a quick report. Sorry for not taking any photos..
I went away by myself on a 3 day trip to fish the Eucumbene after they had a bit of rain last week. I arrived at 6pm on Wednesday and was staying till Saturday.
The Eucumbene was very low and clear and i only managed 3 browns on Thursday, two of them were just over 1kg and the other was 500gms. The fishing was really tough going with the few fish in the river being very lazy.
Day 2 saw me explore lake Tantangara. After walking the banks flicking lures for a couple hours i got to the dam wall. I fished the wall for a bit for no fish. I decided to have a bit of an explore on the other side of the dam wall and fish the Murrumbidgee river. I got a couple nice rainbows there and got followed and saw a fair few fish.
On the Saturday i thought I'll pack up and leave a bit earlier to stop off in Tumut on the way home to fish a couple spots i know. I was drifting glow bugs and nymphs on a nice run which saw me land 3 nice rainbows of nearly 1kg and dropped another 5 rainbows with them jumping and shaking the hook.
It was a good 3 days fishing, walking and exploring to keep that mental health in check! Hopefully the area gets a good rain over the next week or 2 so the fish will start running up the river which will see me running back to the Eucumbene for some amazing fishing.
Cheers, Anth
