I was bloody cold but worth it! It was the best trout session i have ever had.
Because the trout constantly move upstream, Me and my old man found a very nice bit of water with a shallow run going in to a deeper section that was faster through the middle and slower on the sides with an undercut bank. We didn't do any walking. just parked the car and constantly worked that bit of water. casting into the faster water and letting the rigs drift down stream into the slower parts and just repeat over and over. It's a real joy to just stand around in good company casting in to a good bit of water and consistently pull out good fish. Can't wait to do it all again!
