Unbelievable trip mate. Put in the hard work and get the results!

How do you rate the Longtail's as a game fish?

well done lads! Top effort. Sucks about the car, last thing you'd want done is damage to your car whilst on a good trip

Cheers Dougie, the first few mins or so is insane but after the first 2 runs they don't have much at all left.
So I don't think it'll be rated too high as a game fish

That was a good trip. It definitely had its goods and bads lol. Nothing better than spending all day fishing with your brother. It was a good catch up too.

I have heard of a few areas in NSW where the locals target the "tourists" which I don't get because people who visit the town spend money there...

It will certainly be a trip to remember that's for sure - well done
For starters great fishing guys , plenty of beast fish out here up north NSW ;) .

I'm not far from Yamba and Iluka, Iluka is sadly known to have a big ferrel family that lives in the town and causes trouble in the pub all the time , and with locals and visitors ! . I wouldn't be surprised if it was them , very low life thing to do ! ....anyway.

Heaps of poddy mullet around the Iluka wharf, max 20 per person for live bait , then jewies galore off the rocks etc etc as you found out :D .

Cheers.
